COUGH & SORE THROAT POMEGRANATE DRINK

1 serving, 5 minutes
INGREDIENTS
1/2 pomegranate juice (freshly made, preferably room temperature)
2 finger pinch of ginger powder
2 finger pinch of freshly cracked black pepper
DIRECTIONS
Mix all ingredients together in a small cup and drink!
Notes
This is a great remedy for a cough and sore throat that is especially helpful during pomegranate season (September - February).
Try NOT to consume this using cold juice as the cold temperature will deplete agni (digestive fire) which will make coughs & colds worse. Room temperature or enough to knock the chill off will do!
Consume as needed to boost immunity and aide in coughs/ colds. Ayurveda will suggest to have this every hour until symptoms subsides - you do not HAVE to do this every hour, but the point is, do it frequently throughout the day - every couple of hours or 3x a day depending on the person/ age.
