RASPBERRY ROSE RICE MILK SMOOTHIE

INGREDIENTS


  • 1/2 cup fresh raspberries 

  • 1 cup rice milk 

  • 2 finger pinch freshly ground cardamom powder 

  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds

  • 1/2 tsp rosewater (add more to taste if you want more of a rose-y flavor)


DIRECTIONS


  1. Add all ingredients to a blender.

  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.

  3. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.

  • Feel those cooling and calming vibes wash over you as you happily drink this smoothie...ahhhhhhh

  • Supportive for the uterus, liver, skin, lymphatics, and mind.

  • Option to add other berries such as blueberries, blackberries, strawberries to make this a BERRY instead of just a raspberry rice smoothie.

  • People always ask me - "what about a protein powder?" - protein powders are an ultra-processed food. Are ultra-processed foods part of Ayurveda? Are they part of healthy eating in general? Did the ancient rishis of Ayurveda give protein powder out to people and call it medicine. No on all accounts!

  • BUT if you really really really want a protein powder for extra protein - HERE is the one I recommend. It is 1 ingredient - hempseeds....or you could just add extra hemp seeds!
