INGREDIENTS
1 cup fresh blueberries
2 tbsp hemp seeds
1/4 avocado (optional)
2 kale leaves, stems removed, chopped
1/2 tsp fresh ginger root, grated
1 1/2 cups coconut water
1 tsp raw honey (optional)
DIRECTIONS
Add all ingredients except for honey to a blender. Blend on high for 1 minute.
Taste and add honey if needed. Serve at room temperature during the warmer months.

Notes
Feel free to substitute another fruit that is seasonal for the season you are in.
Freshly ground cardamom powder or cinnamon powder would work great in here too if you are not a fan of ginger.
Serve alone as a quick breakfast or snack. All smoothies are best during the warmer months.
