SATTVIC SMOOTHIE

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds

  • 1/4 avocado (optional)

  • 2 kale leaves, stems removed, chopped

  • 1/2 tsp fresh ginger root, grated

  • 1 1/2 cups coconut water

  • 1 tsp raw honey (optional)


DIRECTIONS

  1. Add all ingredients except for honey to a blender. Blend on high for 1 minute.

Taste and add honey if needed. Serve at room temperature during the warmer months.

Notes

  • Feel free to substitute another fruit that is seasonal for the season you are in.

  • Freshly ground cardamom powder or cinnamon powder would work great in here too if you are not a fan of ginger.

  • Serve alone as a quick breakfast or snack. All smoothies are best during the warmer months.
