AVOCADO CREMA

Makes 1/2 cup, 5 minutes
INGREDIENTS
1 ripe avocado
1/4 cup coconut milk, full-fat
1 clove garlic, chopped (optional)
Juice of 1 whole lime
1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped
Salt & pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
Scoop out the inside of the avocado, remove the seed and place in a small food processor or blender with the other ingredients. Blend until smooth.
Notes
Goes great on top of grain bowls, kitchari, burrito bowls, burritos, wraps, sandwiches, or burgers!
If kapha, option to substitute another plant milk instead of the coconut milk (check the consistency, start with 2 tbsp then increase if needed) to reduce the fattiness. Also an option to keep the garlic and add freshly ground cumin powder.
