INGREDIENTS
2 Tbsp Coriander Seeds
1 Tbsp Cumin Seeds
1 Tsp Fenugreek Seeds
1 Tbsp Ground Ginger
1 Tbsp Ground Turmeric
1 Tbsp Ground Cinnamon
1 Tbsp Dried Sage Leaves
1 Tsp Ground Cloves
1/2 Tsp Cayenne or Chili Powder
DIRECTIONS
Dry roast the seeds over medium high heat until aromatic, stirring frequently (about 2-3 minutes)
Grind all the ingredients in a spice or coffee grinder to make a uniform powder
Store in glass spice shaker jar

Notes
Great spice mix to have around the house during the late winter or spring months. Too spicy for pittas but can be pacifying to both vata and kapha.
Use in any savory dish to make it easier to digest.
