INGREDIENTS
3 cups room temperature water
juice of 1/2 medium lime or lemon (add more to taste)
1/2 tsp Himalayan salt or sea salt
1/2 tsp - 1 tsp cane sugar or raw honey
DIRECTIONS
Add all ingredients to a pint glass or quart jar (something large enough to sustain 3 cups of water).
Mix all ingredients using a spoon. Consume immediately at room temperature. Consume when you need extra hydration and electrolytes :).
Notes
Great drink to have in any season if you are having a headache, constipation, dehydration, low blood pressure, low blood sugar, light headedness, or dizziness. Is especially useful in the summertime to replenish electrolytes.
If pitta, use lime instead of lemon (lime is a little bit more cooling and alkaline).
If kapha, use in moderation as the salt in this drink will lead to more water retention in your body. Use honey instead of cane sugar if kapha.
