SATTVIC CHERMOULA SAUCE

Makes 1/2 cup, 5 minutes
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
1 tsp cumin powder, freshly ground
1/2 tsp paprika
1 inch ginger, grated
dash cayenne powder
pinch asafoetida
1 small lemon
2 tbsp olive oil
salt & pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
Add all ingredients except for the lemon & olive oil to a food processor and blend into a paste. Add the olive oil and lemon juice and blend to combine. Use to brush on cauliflower steaks or dress any salad, wrap or grain bowl.
Notes
I like to use this sauce on cauliflower steaks :) or in a wrap to liven it up a bit.
Goes great on top of grain bowls, kitchari, burrito bowls, roasted veggies, wraps, or even noodles!
