SATTVIC CHERMOULA SAUCE

Makes 1/2 cup, 5 minutes


INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped

  • 1 tsp cumin powder, freshly ground

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • 1 inch ginger, grated

  • dash cayenne powder

  • pinch asafoetida

  • 1 small lemon

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • salt & pepper to taste


DIRECTIONS

  1. Add all ingredients except for the lemon & olive oil to a food processor and blend into a paste. Add the olive oil and lemon juice and blend to combine. Use to brush on cauliflower steaks or dress any salad, wrap or grain bowl.



Notes

  • I like to use this sauce on cauliflower steaks :) or in a wrap to liven it up a bit.

  • Goes great on top of grain bowls, kitchari, burrito bowls, roasted veggies, wraps, or even noodles!
