TAHINI COCONUT DATE SAUCE

Makes 1 cup, 10 minutes
INGREDIENTS
3 small dates or 2 medium dates, chopped
3 tbsp hot water
1/3 cup tahini
3 tbsp organic coconut milk
1 tsp tamari or coconut aminos
1/2 medium lime
2 finger pinch asafoetida
DIRECTIONS
Soak the dates in the hot water for 10 minutes. Add the dates and water to a small food processor or blender. Blend to chop/ liquify the dates.
Add all of the other ingredients to the food processor and blend to a sauce consistency. Drizzle over meals as a sweet & creamy condiment.
Notes
Super yummy sweet & savory sauce!
Goes great on top of grain bowls, kitchari, burrito bowls, roasted veggies, wraps, or noodles!
Use in moderation if kapha - okay to use during the fall and early months when the air is dry and light.
